Rampants visit Jaguars, Jags win!

The Rampants of Greenville Rose came to town on Thursday, April 4th. The out of conference opponent traveled the 1 1/2 hours from Greenville to face Athens Drive for the first time in the two program's history. The first half was a tight, back and forth contest as the Rampants put 3 on the board with the Jags scoring 5. The 2nd half was all Jaguars, however. The scoring began in the 3rd with a nifty rebound put back by Carter Toran. That was quickly followed by goals from Morgan, then Koonce. Ratashak and Kasper would tally goals before the end of the 3rd to stretch the lead to 11 - 6. The Jags scored 4 more in the 4th to finish off the Rampants and make the final score 15 to 6. Reid Koonce would surpass the 200 point level for his career in this game. While both Reid (5 goals, 2 assists) and Aaron (4 goals, 3 assists) would have 7 points in this contest, Carter Toran and Jacob Ratashak each scored 2 goals! Defensively, Ryan Jacobs would have 3 ground balls and 3 take aways!
