Athens Drive put together a dominant performance in a 19–3 victory over Fuquay-Varina, with the Jaguars firing on all cylinders from the opening faceoff.

Harrison Baublitz led the offense with 3 goals and 4 assists, while Justin Stanert added 4 goals and 2 assists. Jack Danjczek recorded 3 goals and 1 assist, and the big night also marked a milestone as Jack surpassed 100 career points. Bradyn Evans contributed 3 goals and 1 assist, and Liam Danjczek chipped in 2 goals and 1 assist. Jay Cohn and Hayes Clayton each added 1 goal and 1 assist, while Ethan Klein and Cole Andrews both found the back of the net with one goal apiece.

The Jaguars controlled the ground ball battle, led by Tripp Burney’s monster 10-ground-ball performance. Ethan Klein collected 6 ground balls, while Jack Danjczek, Greyson Deak, Reiter Healey, and Bradyn Evans each added 4, with Andrew Moore contributing 3.

At the faceoff X, Bennett Darden impressed in his first varsity appearance, winning 9 faceoffs (69.2%), while Michael Wirt added 7 wins at 58.3% to help Athens maintain possession throughout the night.
