March 3, 2026 – Win at Willow Spring High School

Final: Athens 17, Willow Spring 6

The Jaguars kept their early-season momentum rolling Tuesday night, powering past Willow Spring 17–6 with a commanding performance on both ends of the field.

Jay Cohn once again led the offensive charge, tallying 7 goals and 2 assists in a dominant showing that kept the Storm defense on its heels all evening. Jack Danjczek added another big night with 5 goals and an assist, while Bradyn Evans contributed 3 goals of his own. Harrison Baublitz played the role of facilitator, recording 2 goals and 4 assists to help fuel the Jaguars’ balanced attack.

Athens also controlled the gritty side of the game. Evans led the ground ball battle with 5, while Reiter Healey, Tripp Burney, Cohn, and Greyson Deak each scooped up 3. Defensively, Healey set the tone with 3 caused turnovers. Evans, Andrew Moore, Deak, and Burney were also disruptive, each forcing two turnovers and helping keep Willow Spring from generating sustained offense.

In goal, Brandon Patterson was sharp when called upon, allowing just one goal on three shots for a 66.7% save percentage.

Next Up: The Jaguars now turn their attention to their next road test against Apex High School on March 6.
