April 20, 2026 – Win at Leesville Road

Final: Athens Drive 13, Leesville Road 4

After a tight first half, Athens Drive hit another gear—and didn’t look back.

The Jags broke things open in the second half, outscoring Leesville 8–2 after the break to pull away for a convincing 13–4 road win. A dominant fourth quarter sealed it, as Athens controlled possession and tempo down the stretch.

Jay Cohn put on a clinic, finishing with 7 goals and 4 assists in a commanding offensive performance. Jack Danjczek continued his steady play with 3 goals and 2 assists, while Harrison Baublitz (1G, 2A) and Hayes Clayton (1G, 1A) added to the balanced attack. Liam Danjczek chipped in a goal to round out the scoring.

The Jags owned the ground ball battle, led by Reiter Healey and Sam Brewer with 7 each. Jack Danjczek added 6, while Tripp Burney and Michael Wirt each scooped up 4.

Defensively, Greyson Deak and Liam Danjczek led the takeaway effort with 2 caused turnovers apiece, with several others getting involved to keep Leesville off rhythm.

At the faceoff X, it was all Athens. Sam Brewer dominated with 12 wins (92.3%), while Michael Wirt followed closely with 7 wins (87.5%), giving the Jags a major possession advantage all game long.

In goal, Brandon Patterson was sharp, turning away 10 shots for a 71.4% save percentage and anchoring a defense that held Leesville to just four goals.
