Final: Athens Drive 15, Enloe 3
Athens Drive turned in one of its most complete performances of the season, cruising to a 15–3 win over Enloe with a balanced attack and dominant play across the field.
Jay Cohn led the charge with 6 goals and 2 assists, while Jack Danjczek delivered a huge all-around performance with 4 goals and 4 assists. Harrison Baublitz (2G, 1A) and Bradyn Evans (2G, 1A) added to the scoring, and Hayes Clayton chipped in with a goal and an assist to round out the offensive effort.
On the ground, the Jags were relentless. Jack Danjczek led the way with 10 ground balls, with Bradyn Evans right behind at 9. Reiter Healey added 5, and Sam Brewer contributed 4 as Athens consistently won the loose ball battles.
Defensively, Greyson Deak and Danny Gelsinger each caused 2 turnovers, helping keep Enloe’s offense in check. At the faceoff X, Sam Brewer battled to a solid 50% win rate against a strong opponent, giving the Jags steady possession.
In goal, Gabe Sell made 3 saves while the defense limited Enloe’s shots throughout the game.
A strong, all-around win for Athens as they continue to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the season.
