Jags Lock in a Hat Trick!

Updated: Mar 4

The first 3 games of Spring Season for the Jaguars varsity team have resulted in 3 very solid wins. Last night they beat the Green Hope Falcons 17-7. The gray skies and drizzle did nothing but motivate these young men to play the best they possibly could. Jay Cohn led scoring with 8 goals, while Tyler Fields scored 4, Braiden Stanert scored 2; and Carson Andrews, Caleb Deak and Wes Cohn all scored 1. Liam Craig remained strong at the face-off, going 19 out of 28 at the stripe. And Kalem (Kali) McKinnis-Castille had 11 great saves for a 61% save rate.

"Green Hope saw a 5-13 record last year and counted us out," said Carson Andrews (#3). "They didn't know the work we put in during the off season to be able to fight till the end and come out strong. Jags all the way."

The varsity and JV teams will be back at it on Wednesday, March 8, against the Green Level Gators.
