Final: Millbrook 11, Athens Drive 10
In a back-and-forth battle that had all the makings of a Friday night classic, Athens Drive came up just short in overtime, falling 11–10 to Millbrook . The Jags showed grit all night, battling through four tight quarters and forcing extra time before the Wildcats slipped in the game-winner.
Jay Cohn once again led the offensive charge, pouring in 6 goals and keeping the pressure on Millbrook’s defense from start to finish. Harrison Baublitz added a strong all-around performance with 2 goals and 2 assists, while Jack Danjczek (1G, 2A) helped keep the offense balanced and moving. Ethan Klein chipped in a goal, and both Hayes Clayton and Liam Danjczek added assists.
Between the lines, Jack Danjczek set the tone with 7 ground balls, while Tripp Burney, Gabe Sell, and Ethan Klein each added 3 in a hard-fought possession battle.
Defensively, the Jags made life difficult for Millbrook. Greyson Deak and Tripp Burney each caused 3 turnovers, with Danjczek adding 2 more and several others getting in on the action.
In goal, Gabe Sell delivered a standout performance, racking up 19 saves and finishing with a 63.3% save percentage.
