Capitals top Jaguars

Athens Drive Jaguars traveled just down the road to take on the Broughton Capitals. This would not be one of the best nights for the Jaguars. With the game tied most of the first quarter at 1, the Capitals went on a 3 goal run in the last 2 minutes of the 1st and added 3 more in the 2nd to take a 7 - 2 lead into halftime. Things did not improve for the Jags in the 2nd half as the Capitals closed them out with a 16 - 5 win. Leading scorers were once agains Reid Koonce with 2 goals and Aaron Morgan with 1 goal and 1 assist. Sophomores Jacob Ratashak and Sam Kasper notched goals against the tough Caps defense. Jared Gursslin held the Caps Van Parker scoreless in the first half, a hefty feat!
