Senior Reid Koonce has verbally committed to continue his academic and lacrosse careers at Mercer University. Mercer University is one of the oldest learning institutions in the south. Located in Macon, Georgia and chartered in 1833, the school has over 8600 students, 12 colleges with 87 undergraduate degree programs, and 83 graduate degree programs. Mercer Lacrosse competes in the Division I Southern Conference against Air Force, Bellarmine, Furman, High Point, Jacksonville, Richmond, and VMI.
