Jags Fight Hard, But Fall Short

Updated: Mar 13

Wednesday, March 8, was a tough night for the Varsity and JV Men's Lacrosse teams versus the Green Level Gators. Final score for the JV team was 7-1, with Harrison Baublitz scoring the only goal.

While the Gators came out strong in the first quarter, the varsity Jags put up a strong fight the rest of the game -- playing hard on defense and making some great offensive plays. Kalem McKinnis-Castille had 15 solid saves, while Zander Adkins, Braiden Stanert, Wes Cohn and Jay Cohn all scored 1 goal each. Tyler Fields, one of the team captains, scored 2 goals. Final score: 16-6. Webb Linton (#24) commented: "Tough losses build tough people."

The March 10 game against JH Rose was canceled due to weather, so the Varsity Jags take on the Clayton Highschool Comets on Monday, March 13. GO JAGS!
