Jaguars Tame East Chapel Hill Wildcats

The fields at Athens Drive Highschool may have been a bit wet and slippery last night, but it didn't hold the Jaguars back from a solid 16-6 victory in their second game of the season (the March 1st game against Green Hope was rescheduled to April 17 due to rainy conditions).

Jay Cohn led the scoring with 6 goals (and 2 assists), followed by Jack Danjczek with 3 goals. Tyler Fields scored 2 goals and had 7 assists, with Wes Cohn scoring 2 goals and the following players scoring 1 goal each: Caleb Deak (plus an assist), Jack Thompson and Liam Craig. Brower Evenhouse also had a solid assist.

In addition to his goal, Craig went 14 of 16 at faceoff and Brower Evenhouse went 7 of 8 at faceoff.

Other players that helped keep the game going in our direction with caused turnovers are: Webb Linton (total of 7); Owen Honnold (4 total); Tyler Fields (4 total); and Wes Cohn (3 total).

The Jaguars head to Greenville, NC on Friday night to play the J.H. Rose Rampants. Our next home game isn't until March 18th against Sanderson Highschool. Keep embracing the blue!
