Jaguars Kick Off Spring Season with a Bang!

While the start of the spring lacrosse season for the Athens Drive Highschool Jaguars was a bit on the chilly side, they fueled up and brought the heat against Corinth Holders, winning 15-1. Three of our varsity players scored 4 goals each: Caleb Deak (#15), Tyler Fields (Captain, #13) and Zander Adkins (#1). Jay Cohn (Captain, #9) brought in 2 goals and Brower Evenhouse's (#7) goal had some spice to it. with some great passing. Face-off veteran, Liam Craig (#19), went 16 out of 16 with 8 ground balls in his favor.

Adkins, Fields, Cohn, Evenhouse and Webb Linton (#24) had assists throughout the game (2, 2, 4, 1 and 1 respectively). The varsity team is well-positioned for a strong season, and are ready to take on Green Hope tomorrow night at Athens, March 1st.

Thanks to all the parents who have stepped in to support volunteer roles for the JV and Varsity teams. As the season kicks off, there are plenty of opportunities to help our young men (and families) have a great experience!
