Jags Defeat Leesville Pride

A very slippery field did not stop the varsity men's lacrosse team from securing another conference win against Leesville. Final score was 8-6, with Tyler Fields and Jay Cohn leading the # of goals with 3 each. Zander Adkins and Caleb Deak each scored one goal. And we saw some solid take-aways by Adkins, Wes Cohn and Webb Linton! Goalkeeper Cali had 13 saves for a 68.4% save rate. As he stated, "They can't stop a brick wall!" -- and he's right! The Defense was also on point with some great teamwork that prevented the Pride from getting too close to the Jags' den. (insert "roar")

Unfortunately the JV team was not as fortunate (8-0 loss) but they put some solid effort in and continued practicing critical plays and working together as a team.

Weds, March 29th, the varsity Jags will take on the JH Rose Rampants from Greenville, NC at Athens Drive.
